Guru ka langar

Langar symbolizes selfless service, love and brotherhood among the Sikhs. In this hall, everyone is equal regardless gender, age or social status and they have to follow the rules for cutleries, sit together and eat the same food. The Sikhs believe in equality. Visitors must cover their hair while visiting the temple and this is related to the Sikh beliefs of covering the hair.
