Tinggi Island
Description
The time taken to reach Pulau Tinggi is 30 minutes by boat from Tanjung Leman Jetty. If you want to know, this island is home to the highest mountain when compared to the mountains found on the surrounding islands. Interestingly, this mountain also looks like a hat when you look at it once, so it was once given the title of General Hat Island by Chinese sailors hundreds of years ago. This mountain is Mount Semadu which is about 2000 feet above sea level. The wealth of marine life in the blue sea water that surrounds this island makes Pulau Tinggi one of the famous locations among divers. You should also not miss the opportunity to go jungle trekking on this island to go to the area of beautiful waterfalls and small ponds. The time taken to get there is around 35 to 40 minutes.
