Zainal’s Place

Haji Wahid's family started this business since 1918. It started from the previous generation from Basid Ali Karam Ali - Wak Baidali who sold boiled noodles every day using two rattan carts that were carried around Bukit Zaharah and Kampung Air Molek. In 1938, his son Haji Wahid Basid Ali took over his duties and became the only seller of boiled noodles among the satay sellers at the Satay Club, opposite Johor Bahru KTM station.
